So! In this tutorial I go over how you can achieve an outline that will follow any mask that you create within after effects and also, how you can make individual elements of a subject/object flash in and out to hit beats or just to add some extra flavour to a scene! I have gone over most of what you need to do with the voiceover aid on this particular tutorial!

A final note I would say is just play around with the outline and the elements you have flickering in and out. You can change up their colours, set some to a gradient, some to a colour fill.
